If you’ve been enjoying my recipes here are some great kitchen staples that I use in almost everything I make:
Baking:
- Gluten-Free all-purpose flour (Namaste)
- Baking soda and baking powder (aluminum free)
- Milled chia seeds (Running Food chia seeds are great)
- Wheat-Free Oats (I like Bob Red Mills) $
- Coconut oil (Raw, Artisana) $
- Shredded unsweetened coconut (I buy bulk)
- Raw Cacao (Navitas)
- Goji berries, dried cranberries (Navitas or bulk)
- Raw almonds, sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds (I buy bulk)
- Organic vanilla extract
- Spices: Cinnamon and Allspice (I buy bulk)
- Pink himalayan sea salt
- Maple syrup
- Brown rice syrup
- Sucanat
- Green and Black’s chocolate $ (I also buy bulk chocolate chips)
- Stevia $
Cooking/Salads:
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Balsamic vinegar (worth paying more for AGED balsamic) $
- Hoisin Sauce
- Wheat-free tamari (Candida diet friendly)
- Rice vinegar (without sugar)
- Red wine vinegar
- Spices: Chili powder, Cumin, Cayenne, Tumeric, Curry
- Hot sauce (Valentinas, Sriracha, Chipotle)
- Organic ketchup
- Maille dijon
- Raw tahini (Artisana) $
- Beans: lentils, black beans, chickpeas (I buy bulk or canned 365 brand from Whole Foods)
- Organic canned whole tomatoes, crushed tomatoes, tomato paste
Smoothies:
- Bananas
- Frozen berries
- Unsweetened almond milk (Almond Breeze)
- Xantham gum (for thickening)
- Vega protein powders $

$ Some of these ingredients are worth shelling out an extra buck for. When it comes to good ingredients, I like to pay a little more when it makes a difference.
