Foodbuzz Festival 2011

I’m still reeling from an amazing weekend filled with food bloggers and wonderful snacks at the 3rd Annual Foodbuzz Blogger Festival. It was an amazing experience!

When I began food blogging back in January I had no idea that I was joining such a talented, hilarious, caring, and hungry community! I got to put faces to so many of the blogs that I have been reading over the years. Even though I was a little shy I first, I quickly got over my inhibitions and  after a few cocktails I discovered that I bear I striking resemblance to Joy the Baker, that Sabrina aka The Tomato Tart likes skulls as much as I do, and that Kristin of The Cuisinerd is a fan of dresses with pockets– she’s sensible and stylish! Did I mention that all of those people have amazing food blogs? Seriously, Mariko, Kailey, Mama Pea, Julie, Tracy, Andy, and oh so many more, thanks for making me feel welcome and sharing some laughs. I am super inspired by all of you!

The only thing that would have made it better is if Gillian had have been able to make it, I was missing my Healthy Tasty Cheap co-writer and favorite cuz. Oh, well there is always next year…

So funny, I had no idea that I had a blogging doppelganger! Fortunately she’s awesome, as are you. I’m actually listening to your podcast on modern day etiquette right now (and thus totally over thinking this comment…). Ha!
