One of my favourite ways to prep for the week is to make a big batch of quinoa.

It’s a versatile grain that allows me to add a punch of protein to my salads, or to make a quick and easy bowls like this one.

This warm spiced quinoa bowl is delicious, warming, full of healthy fats, protein and anti-inflammatory properties.

I used tumeric to spice up this bowl, with a dash of cumin, because it’s a great anti-inflammatory spice and it adds such nice colour and flavour to any dish.

I also added kale and tomato into the mix and topped it with avocado and hemp seeds.  This is one of the easiest, most satisfying lunches I’ve made in a while.

Go on, get cozy and make one for yourself, even winter and can be warm and tasty!
